A FAMILY carnival day is being held in Widnes.
The fun-filled day takes place at the Studio on Lacey Street on Wednesday August 17 from 11am to 3pm.
Visitors will have a chance to make free carnival crafts.
The Studio Samba Band, Sunshine Singers Choir & The D' Ukes of Halton will perform live music.
A selection of food will be available from the Rock’n’Bowl café and stall and carnival games will be provided.
Children are invited to make crafts and a carnival mascot at a drop in session on Friday August 12 from 1pm to 3pm.
There will also be a chance to join in a carnival parade along Lacey Street.
The Studio, Widnes Locality Team and Warrington Road and Kingsway Children's Centres have teamed up to stage this event.
It is supported by the Studio’s funders People’s Health Trust as part of their Creativity for Life project.
