HUNDREDS of pounds was raised for cancer sufferers as wellwishers supported the world’s biggest coffee morning.
Iggle Piggle joined in the fun at Domino’s Pizza in Widnes Road on Friday as staff baked cakes and sold pizza slices. Facepainters kept children entertained.
Widnes Italian restaurant Pesto served homemade cakes, tea and coffee in Birchfield Road.
Health watchdog Healthwatch Halton in St Marie’s Church, Lugsdale Road welcomed visitors for a coffee morning. Volunteers baked a huge selection of cakes.
Schools, offices, shops, businesses, community centres and churches across Runcorn and Widnes held similar events.
The charity would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
