EASTER family fun activities are being held at Norton Priory’s walled garden.

Children can join an Easter bunny hunt on Bank Holiday Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7.

Youngsters can stop the giant rabbit from munching all the carrots.

Workshops will show children how to make carrot bait.

Spring chicken will arrive on April 13 and 14 before he hatches an escape plan.

Craft sessions will encourage youngsters how to fox their feathered friend. Learning and community officer Susan Brownrigg said: “We hope families will be egg-static about our Easter themed activities.

“The gardening team and volunteers are really fed up with these cheeky animal antics so please come and help us round up the bunny and chicken.”

Spring has arrived at the garden so visitors will be able to see lots of colour and new plants.

The Walled Garden is open from 10am until 5pm and activities take place from 11am to 4pm.

Usual admission prices apply and include entry to Halton Castle. There is no additional cost for family activities.

The museum is currently closed for redevelopment until summer 2016.
