A MOTORCYCLIST killed in Runcorn ‘lived for his two little boys’, say his family.

Dad-of-two Aiden Davies, aged 26, from Cuddington died at the scene of the collision at around 8.30pm on Sunday, August 2.

In a statement, his family said: "Aiden was a proud father, brother and son who lived for his two little boys and his family.

"He was kind hearted and always had a smile on his face.

“He had many friends in the area and was loved by everyone that knew him."

The accident happened on Halton Link Road connecting Boston Avenue and the Central Expressway.

Police say he was riding a black Suzuki GSF 1200 when he lost control on a left hand bend and died at the scene. 

Friends have also paid tribute.

Nicola Swain posted: “He was a great lad and good friend of the family.”

Ryan Cornfoot posted: “RIP mate, so sad.”

Emma Hilditch said: “Heartbreaking for all the family involved.”

Matthew Lawson added: “Top lad.”

An investigation has been launched.

Officers are appealing for witnesses.

Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a white Focus RS in the Boston Avenue and Central Expressway area around the time of the incident.

They are also keen to trace the occupants of a Mitsubishi that was travelling from Boston Avenue up the link road shortly before the incident.

A 26-year-old man from Runcorn has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
