THIS picture of the old buildings on West Bank promenade was captured by Chris Kelly of Moore Close, Widnes.
It shows the former power house of the Old Transporter bridge and a hut built in 1903 as a viewing platform.
The ‘mini pier’ has now fallen into disrepair but was used by pensioners to play cards and dominoes.
