INDIAN cookery, golf and jewellery making were just some of the skills families mastered as part of an innovative project.
Parents, carers and grandparents joined pupils at Wade Deacon High School for a two day action-packed programme.
A selection of 17 activities ranging from sword fencing and animation to soccer and remote control car racing were on offer.
It was a chance for mums and daughters to spend some time together while dads and lads explored other challenges.
Families taking part said they were very impressed by the quality and variety of the workshops.
Howard Mealey, who co-ordinates the programme, said: “Our enrichment programmes remain ever popular allowing the whole family to enjoy quality time together.
“It is always a pleasure to welcome our families and to provide opportunities for them to enjoy the wide range of facilities that are available here.”
The programmes are run during the Easter and summer school holidays.
Primary school children and their families are also invited to take part.
