ALMOST 100 children have been chosen to perform in The Pied Piper in Runcorn this summer.
Auditions at The Brindley and Castlefields attracted more than 150 youngsters.
Most of the young people selected for the musical live in Runcorn and Widnes.
As well as the village children who befriend the Pied Piper, they will play a variety of characters from woodland creatures and fairies to trogs and rats.
The Pied Piper is coming to The Brindley from Thursday, July 28 to Sunday, July 31.
The musical is written by Anne Dalton, whose shows Peter Pan and Her Benny have both visited The Brindley and played to packed houses throughout the country.
