A MAN injured in a house fire in Runcorn has died.
The 25-year-old man sadly died in Whiston Hospital in the early hours of this morning.
He suffered serious burns in a fierce blaze which swept through a house on Stone Barn Lane in Palacefields at 3.20pm on Wednesday.
Cheshire Police and Cheshire Fire Brigade are mounting an investigation into the cause of the fire which destroyed the roof and first floor of the property.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said today: “Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with their enquiries.”
