INTERNATIONAL comedian Jimeoin is the latest big name to announce a gig at The Brindley theatre in Runcorn.

He has performed on Sunday Night at the Palladium, Live at the Apollo, the Royal Variety Performance, Channel 4's Comedy Gala and the John Bishop Show.

But on November 1, residents will get the chance to see him at The Brindley for his latest show Renonsense Man.

Also hailed as the 'man with the most famous eyebrows in comedy', Jimeoin has endured a year full of TV appearances and sell-out shows in theatres across the UK and Ireland.

He left his Northern Ireland home in the 1990s and settled in Australia where he fell into his comedy career by chance after a friend's dare to get up at an open mic night in Sydney.

Tickets, starting at £15, can be bought from thebrindley.org.uk or the box office on 0151 907 8360.
