RESIDENTS in Widnes have been hit with a power cut.
Those living in the WA8 area have experienced a black out of electricity at 2.29pm this afternoon, Wednesday.
Scottish Power, who cover a large area of Halton and Warrington, have not yet confirmed the reason for the fault in power.
A number of properties are being affected by the issue, specifically the following postcodes:
WA87BP, WA87EG, WA87EP, WA87EQ, WA87ER, WA87LL, WA87LN, WA87LP, WA87LR, WA87LW
