TWO men suffered serious injuries in an assault in the early hours of the morning after a night out in Widnes.
On Saturday, March 30, Cheshire Police was called to reports of a serious assault, believed to have taken place between 4.30am and 5am on Victoria Road.
During the incident, two men were both assaulted, with one suffering a fractured jaw and the other suffering a fractured eye socket.
Cheshire Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident, and it is appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
One of the suspects believed to be involved in the incident is described as a white man, approximately 5’ 7” tall, of a stocky build, with medium-length dark hair, a short beard and thick, black-rimmed glasses.
DC Phil Jackson said: “Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident, and we are now appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or has any dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone with any information which they believe may aid our enquiries.”
