Young Josh Benstead in the Wild goal made a number of vital saves.
The second period saw Wild pull away with goals from Lee Pollitt, Joe Greaves and George Crawshaw giving them a 4- 1 lead at the end of the second period.

The visitors took the final period 2-0 with further goals from Filip Supa and Matt Wainwright.
