WIDNES Vikings will kick-off the 2016 Magic event against Salford Red Devils on the Saturday, 2.30pm kick-off.

It is a repeat of last season’s game which saw captain Kevin Brown score a hat-trick in a 38-16 victory, in front of the black and white army’s large following, kitted out in the special Magic Weekend shirt in aid of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

Once again, we have been allocated the iconic Gallowgate End of the famous ground, home of Newcastle United Football Club, where Vikings followers generated a fantastic atmosphere to kick-off the event on its first visit to the North East in 2015.
