THE DANCE OF THE BUTTERFLY MOTH Such was the beauty and distance of speed In majesty, bullion and light.
The spirals and angles and glimmering shades That danced through the embers at night.
My mind oft resembled the butterfly moth As it opened its wings to entrance: The gaps and the pinions That masked life's desires Would stop evil longing at once.
As I searched for that mountain And pinnacle north Then pointed my periscope south, The shades and dimensions of everything good Would sing like a queen from my mouth.
So praise to the Lord for the butterfly moth That surely leaves nothing to chance And sing with thew angels this night of all nights And rejoice with this heavenly dance.
